Lego Robotics Camp

Session 5: 7/16 – 7/20/18
Every child likes Lego. Every child likes robot. During this two-week’s camp, students will be able to build Lego robots and write program to control them , which will make them feel they can really create something magnificent. Students will learn graphic programming, Loop and branch, multitask, motor control, straight movement and much more. We emphasis on project based learning. Students need to finish projects by themselves to make sure they have mastered the related content. Video recording of finished projects along with the progress sheet will be provided to parents to review. After finishing the two-week’s camp, we will select some students to attend FLL competition.
Instructor: Mr. Yong Tang Obtained Master degree of Microelectronics in Tsinghua University. As a senior hardware and system engineer, he had worked in Cisco and several startups for many years. Now he is focusing on youth STEM education. He has taught Lego robotics class for multiple after schools in Bay area, including Claude Intl School, Genius Kids Club, Le Shan Chinese School etc and has been a coach for two FLL teams.
Instructor: Mr. Weile Wang Obtained Ph. D of geophysics in Boston University. As a NASA scientist, he is advocate of STEM education. He has taught and coached multiple FLL teams and classes and been a math Olympiad and a guest speaker of Math Circle.
Time: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm
Age: entering G5-G8
Fee：$350/week if register before 3/30/18，$380 if register after 3/30/18
Extended program: $65/week. Monday – Friday 8:30am – 9:00am, 4:00pm – 6:30pm
