Jump into a world of “What If?” at Creative Camp!
This summer, we’re turning everyday materials into extraordinary wonders. Whether your child wants to design a “dream town,” write and illustrate a custom storybook, or craft a musical instrument from scratch, our camps offer a joyful, hands-on journey through art and science. Every week is a new adventure in making, where kids experiment with clay, wood, recycled materials, and pure imagination to bring their unique visions to life.
Creative Architecture
In this engaging camp, children will delve into the world of structural design, creating three-dimensional structures and buildings using a wide array of materials such as clay, wood blocks, cardboard, foam boards, and recycled materials. They will not only learn the technical aspects but also discover how architects blend functional requirements with captivating designs that spark our imagination. Design serves as a catalyst for learning, empowering children to identify needs, frame problems, collaborate effectively, explore diverse contexts, evaluate options, and express their ideas verbally, visually, and in three dimensions.
Schedule: 6/08/26 – 6/12/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Creative Product Design
This program is a creative planning process that leads to product prototypes. Students identify criteria and constraints related to the design and development of various products, for example, “a shirt which can also be used as pants”, “a motorcycle with windshield wipers”, or “an autonomous car with different sensors”, etc. They identify and describe the major steps in the engineering design process and analyze possible solutions to the design challenge. During every session, students will build prototypes using simple materials.
Schedule: 6/15/26 – 6/19/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Wearable Art & Costume Design
Students design and craft unique pieces of wearable art, from masks and jewelry to expressive costumes. They experiment with texture, pattern, and movement, learning how fashion and identity come together as art.
Schedule: 6/22/26 – 6/26/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Mini Amusement Park Makers
This is a playful, hands-on camp where kids design and build their own miniature amusement park using cardboard, paper, clay, and simple mechanisms. Throughout the week, they create roller coasters, spinning rides, funhouse tunnels, and whimsical characters, exploring creativity, problem-solving, and basic engineering in a fun environment.
Schedule: 7/06/26 – 7/10/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Storybook Factory – A Creative Writing & Bookmaking Camp
We invite young storytellers to imagine, write, and illustrate their very own books while bringing their characters and worlds to life through hands-on art. Throughout the week, campers craft original narratives, design colorful illustrations, and build creative elements such as pop-ups, miniature scenes, or character sculptures that enhance their stories. This joyful blend of writing and making helps children express their ideas, develop storytelling skills, and experience the excitement of becoming real authors and book artists.
Schedule: 7/13/26 – 7/17/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Make Your Own Music Instruments Camp
This is a lively, hands-on experience where kids design and build their own musical instruments using everyday materials, natural objects, and creative engineering. Throughout the week, campers create shakers, drums, string instruments, wind chimes, and imaginative sound-makers while exploring rhythm, pitch, and the magic of sound. Blending art, music, and science, this camp encourages experimentation, teamwork, and joyful noise-making, ending with a playful group performance using the instruments they’ve crafted themselves.
Schedule: 7/20/26 – 7/24/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Ancient Civilizations Makers Lab
This takes kids on a hands-on journey through the art, architecture, and legends of ancient cultures like Persia, Egypt, China, Mesopotamia, and the Maya. Throughout the week, campers build clay tablets, pyramids, mosaic tiles, mythological creature masks, ancient jewelry, and miniature temples while learning the stories and inventions that shaped early civilizations. Blending history with creative making, this camp invites children to explore the past through crafting, building, and imaginative play, ending with a mini “museum” showcasing their artifacts.
Schedule: 7/27/26 – 7/31/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Build Your Own Country
This is a playful world-building camp where kids imagine and create an entire nation from the ground up, designing its flag, map, nature, currency, laws, architecture, and national symbols. Throughout the week, campers craft miniature landmarks, invent characters and traditions, and build natural habitats like forests, lakes, and deserts. Blending art, storytelling, geography, and teamwork, this camp empowers children to shape their own imaginative nature-rich worlds and present their invented country in a fun end-of-week showcase.
Schedule: 8/03/26 – 8/07/26, M-F, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
The instructors are a group of artists, scientists, architects, musicians, & designers who share the passion of teaching creativity-based art & science to children.
